Choosing Jeju Pork means choosing quality, tradition, and trust. We’ve gathered the most common questions to help you feel confident from order to plate — whether you're in Hong Kong, Korea or beyond.
How Do I Place an Order?
You can place your order anytime through our website. Whether you're preparing for a weekend barbecue or a comforting home-cooked dinner, it only takes a few clicks to bring Jeju’s most prized pork to your table.
When Will My Order Arrive?
Orders placed before 11:00 a.m. will be shipped the same day and usually arrive the next day.
Orders placed after 11:00 a.m. will be shipped the following day.
If an item is out of stock, we’ll contact you promptly to adjust the shipping schedule. Thank you for your understanding.
How Should I Store the Pork?
Please refrigerate the product immediately after receiving it.
For long-term storage, freezing is necessary.
If stored in a standard household refrigerator, we recommend consuming it within 2 days.
After that, freeze it to maintain quality.
Understanding What You See in the Pork
There Is Black Hair in the Meat
Due to the unique characteristics of Jeju Black Pork, some black hair may remain even after processing. This is completely natural and does not affect the quality of the meat. Feel free to enjoy with confidence.
There’s Blood in the Package
Our pork products are vacuum-sealed in their raw state, which can cause some blood to collect inside the packaging. This is a normal occurrence — simply wipe it gently with a paper towel before cooking.
The Meat Looks Dark in Color
All meats contain a pigment called myoglobin, which stores oxygen in the muscle. When vacuum-packed, oxygen is cut off, causing the meat to temporarily darken. Once unpacked, the meat will return to its natural red color within 30 minutes.
There’s Blue Ink on the Meat
Sometimes you may see a blue stamp on the meat. This is applied during slaughter to indicate the grade and breed of the pork. It is food-safe and harmless to consume.
Can I Exchange or Return My Order?
Because our products are fresh and perishable, exchanges or returns must be requested within 1 day of receiving your order.

If the issue is confirmed, Tamrain will cover the return shipping.
Return & Exchange Policy Notes
We may not be able to process returns or exchanges in the following cases:
If the product is damaged due to the customer's actions.
If the product's value is significantly reduced due to use or consumption.

How Can I Cancel an Order?
Cancellations are only possible before the product is shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible to request a cancellation.
Can I Choose My Delivery Date?
Yes. After placing your order, contact us at enquiries@tamrain.com to request your preferred delivery date. Please note that due to courier schedules, deliveries may not be available on weekends or public holidays.
